Memorial Weekend ATV Rally
Weekend long atv rally with poker runs, games, raffles, prizes, music, parade and more all taking place throughout Iron County on the trails. Help us take our title back and be there for the "Going for the Record" of the World's Largest ATV Parade! Pre- registration is $8 before May 10th or $10 afterwards. Registration includes: poker sheet, bandanna, and entry into some great pre-registration prizes.

Lupine Junefest
9AM-4PM. Enjoy teh Northwoods during the blooming of the wild lupine. Events include: bike 'n hike tours, chalk drawing contest, photography contest, classic car/truck/motorcycle show, art & craft fair, children's scavenger hike, canoe/kayak events, live music, food, beverages, and more.

Town Wide Rummage Sales
8AM-4PM. Several rummage sales throughout Mercer with lots of treasures to be found! Maps will be available at the Chamber beginning June 18th. If you are having a sale and would like to be on the map- the cost is $5. $5 to be placed on the map,otherwise its free to those rummaging!

Woods & Blooms Garden Club Plant Sale
9AM-1PM. Garden club members donate perennials from thier gardens for sale! Funds raised are used for beautification projects in the community such as the Century Pines Park.

Mercer 4th of July Celebration
Full day of fun with parade through downtown Mercer at 11AM followed all day activities at Carow Park on Hwy J including kids games, live music, food, beverages and the best fireworks display in the northwoods at dusk. Directions: 2 miles east on Hwy J off Hwy 51.

Mercer Garden Tour
10AM-4PM. A self guided tour of private gardens in the Mercer area including perennial, woodland, cottage, rock, and landscape features. Proceeds will benefit Mercer Community projects.

Polka Mass and Polish Dinner
Polka Mass at St. Isaac Jogues followed by a Traditional All you can Eat Polish Banquet from and Bingo. Polka Mass at 11AM and Polish Banquet from 12-4PM featuring a variety of Polish foods to choose from along with a beer garden and Polka bank to entertain everyone. Indoor and outdoor dining. Night Before Loon Day Street Dance
8PM-Midnight. The Mercer Chamber and Heart of the North sponsor a street dance downtown to kick off the annual Loon Day Art & Craft show the next day. Lots of fun for the whole family with live music and social time.

Loon Day 2009
Huge arts/craft show with over 250 vendors, food, music,flea market and the famous Loon Calling Contest at 12:30PM in front of Heart of the North. FREE to the public shopping or participating in Loon Calling Contest. $60 for 10x10 booth space for vendors.

Turtle Flambeau Flowage Pig & Corn Roast & Karaoke
The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association will hold a Pig & Corn Roast on August 8, with food being served beginning at 3:00 p.m. The roast will be held at the Midway Bar located at 89281 County Highway F, Butternut, WI 54514 (11 miles north of Butternut). On the menu will be pork with all the fixings and sweet corn. DJ & Karaoke will provide musical entertainment beginning at 4:00 p.m. All proceeds from the pig roast will go toward Turtle Flambeau Flowage Association activities. Turtle Flambeau Flowage Musky Rodeo
Three day musky fishing tournament on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Fishing starts on Saturday at 8AM and ends on Monday at noon. Registration is required.
