Canoe/Kayak and Tube Rentals

Canoeing: Rugger's is the perfect spot to initiate a canoe/kayak trip. Rentals are inexpensive and come with the advise of best routes for your ability level, desire of challenge, and length of trip desired. Livery fee depends upon pick up and drop off points. You receive a map of your route with the canoe rental.

There are several rivers to choose from with varying degrees of difficulty and scenery. Routes can range from rapids consisting of a few rippled rocks to Class III. We can make trips in varying lengths from one hour to three days with camping along the way.

Fishing is good in the rivers and the lakes that are passed through and can be either added fun or set up as a fishing/canoe voyage.

Canoe rental is $20 per canoe which includes livery to most drop-off points. There is a livery charge for greater distances.

Tubing: Plan a quiet, leisurely tube trip down the peaceful Turtle River. The trip takes about three hours and is for those who enjoy soaking up rays and scenery. The river is slow and gentle and in most spots you can stand with water only waist high. There is one small rapid that adds excitement, but can be walked through also. Large groups seem to enjoy this type of trip with an extra tube for beverages. Water or gym shoes must be worn and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tube trips are $7 per tube, for three hours of fun!
